Should Christians be in politics?

That is a very common question these days. What do you think the answer should be? Have you really thought about it or are you like me and so many others? Naturally the government and those that do not know the Lord will say no. This comes under the deception and out right lie of the phrase coined "separation of Church and state." The answer should be an absolute YES.



If we think for a moment and look back we will conclude that our founding fathers knew that without God this new nation would not prevail. There are many many quotes from them, here is one by Benjamin Franklin. " I have lived,Sir a long time and the longer I live,the more convincing proofs I see of this truth: "That God governs in the affairs of man: and if a sparrow can not fall with out His notice, IS it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured in the Sacred Writings that : except the Lord build the house they labor in vain that build it. Ps.127:1 If a house certainly a nation.


How great it would be if the leaders of this nation would humble them selves and depend on God's wisdom instead of the strife and confusion that comes out of the limited natural mind.

God says that the wisdom of man is foolishness to Him. This is why we all need to have our minds renewed by the Word. Rom 12: 1@2.


If more of our elected officials would have even half the love and respect for God that Franklin, Webster, Jefferson, Adams, Garfield, Washington, and Lincoln, had then they would love the country the way these men did. Not a self serving love that is dominate in politicians today.


The introduction to our constitution gives its intent and purpose and these are all scriptural.
1 A more perfect union
2 Establish Justice
3 ensure domestic tranquility
4 common defence
5 promote general welfare
6 secure the blessings of liberty.

If one looks they will see that these are all Biblical and God has provided them in His government, the Kingdom of God. The three branches of our government follows Isa. 33

The Lord is our judge: (Judicial branch)

The Lord is our lawgiver :(Legislative Branch )The Book of the law Bible

The Lord is our King: (Executive Branch) He executes the Law His Word

Every Christian needs to know why we are a Christian nation. It has nothing to do with how many Christians are living here now. YES Mr. OBAMA we are a Christian nation and you declaring it not to be is sheer ignorance on your part . Or are you wishful thinking.

Christians we can have a profound effect on our government and we should. We will stand before God one day and He will ask Why?

Why did you not pray as instructed in 1Tim. 2 verses 1,-3 He would not tell us to pray if He was going to do nothing about it.

The liberals are looking for Civil liberty. God tells us how to walk in liberty. 2Cor.3:17. They try to throw God out of everything and wonder why they have no liberty or peace.

God desires our restoration to the strong moral honest country we had in the beginning. Politicians with out Christ is no different than any other person with out Christ. Being liars,
deceitful and self centered.
In conclusion think about all this for a moment. If God calls people to Himself and requires them to repent and live a Christ like life: why then should a Christian not be in a public office.

God desires His people to be leaders, to set an example to the world that He is awesome, loving and cares about them. Yes Christians should be in government.

Where it all started II

There are many things we could do to try change this nation. But the very first thing one must look at is the root cause. That is in the heart of man. God was a huge part of the founding of and the guidelines that set this great nation in motion forward. I truly believe if every Christian would vote for men or women that have a good foundation in Scriptural truth that the nation would change for the good. At the very beginning of the nations birth, men served as a duty, with no pay: now I believe they will say anything or do anything to get elected. Most want a good paying job in government no matter what it takes . As my previous post showed about the Lord holding voters accountable I must tell every political figure you will be held accountable also. You will stand before the Lord one day and give account of what you did and said about every Christian. Jesus takes it very personal when you come against His people. Please read Matt. 25: 34 thru 40. Leaders this is not meant to verbally attack you but to let you see there is some one you will account to even if you fool to voters. But through the correct avenue the voters will begin to see the truth. When we vote responsibly then the people will return to a healthy country. AMEN Begin to read wallbuilders web page

where it started

Our country is in moral decline. We have substituted political correctness for moral character,integrity, honesty and responsibility. Where is the blame? We look to our politicians and leaders to set an example for this great nation. But where did the real problem start? Ahh maybe it started with you and I the American people. We have ignored the responsibility and privilege to vote with Christian guidelines and have become complacent with our duty to hold every elected official accountable. Look at some of the great statements the great men of this new country has made.

"The time has come that Christians must vote for honest men and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them.... Christians have been exceedingly guilty in this matter. But the time has come when they must act differently...... Christians seem to act as if they thought God did not what they do in politics. But I tell you He does see it-and He will bless or curse this nation according to the course they (Christians)take in politics.

What went wrong

My country tis of thee. That is a song we sang as a child. Now there are a lot of folks that want Him out of the picture. This is very sad ,dangerous and heart breaking. It is because of Him that we are the nation that led the world. The politically correct has made us like so many other nations. Deut.28:1 tells us how we bacame that great nation. Now thanks to the anti God crowd we are in debt, we are loosing respect in most of the worlds eyes and have declined in morals and honesty and it is directly related to His absence in our Government. We need to return to the God who made this nation above all other nations. look what he promised in other passages in His Word. Prov.14:34 declares that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people. .Folks think back to when our country began to decline. It was when they took prayer out of school the way to stand again is found in 2Chron.7:14 Please read theese scriptures. Lord God this country still tis of thee Please have mercy and restore us to your way of life.
